onefootinthegrave asked: my point was there is a lot of ridiculous shit in the Bible that would be best forgotten ;) It just bothers me that so many on the right end of the political spectrum ignore Jesus when he says that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven, but remember a bunch of ludicrous rules in one of the most obscure chapters of the Bible.

I think many don’t realize that the New Testament is in existence and it does change some of the teachings because of the presence of the son of God.
